Textures don’t look as crisp as in the screenshots (PBR) #
The PBR Phantom is designed for texture resolutions of 4k for GPUs with more than 6GB of VRAM, or 2k for GPUS with 6GB or less. Please ensure that texture resolution is set to 2k or 4k in your P3D Graphics settings. Also, please ensure that “Mipmap VC panels” is turned off.
My controls don’t work (Legacy) #
If your ailerons and elevators don’t work you have an old version, prior to June 2019. Please send us a support ticket and we will directly help you to resolve it.
When pulling Gs I try to roll the plane but it yaws and stalls #
In high-G manouevers and above 16 units of AoA, the ailerons produce adverse yaw and the pedals are used to roll the aircraft. Please read the flight manual to familiarize yourself with the flight characteristics of the aircraft.
I was flying with AFCS on and the plane stalled. Now the plane cannot hold attitude or altitude correctly #
This is an out-of-trim condition of the Autopilot, happening in the real aircraft. It’s not a bug, it’s a feature!
I can drop bombs but they do not explode #
Be sure that you have set the arming switch to “Nose” or “Nose & Tail” on the dogbone panel and that the fuzes are ready from the AWW-1 panel. Please read the flight manual, section titled “A/G Weapons Employment” for use of the Air-to-Ground weapons capabilities of the Phantom.
I dropped bombs from two stations, switched to another one but now they won’t release #
You need to Step Reset like in the real aircraft. Please read the flight manual, section titled “A/G Weapons Employment” for use of the Air-to-Ground weapons capabilities of the Phantom.
I pickled my bombs, but one of them remained on the pylon #
This is a bug in the real aircraft and a feature in ours. Sometimes, when pickling too quickly a bomb gets skipped or remains hung.
Where is the HUD? #
There is no HUD on the Phantoms.
