The Kodiak 100 Series II is a high-wing, single-engine turboprop aircraft, capable of transporting up to 9 passengers or cargo up to a distance of 1,132nm. Equipped with the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-34 engine flat-rated at 750shp, the aircraft is capable of taking off and landing in less than 350ft, enabling it to operate from small, unprepared airstrips all over the world!
Created with the help of Daher and real Kodiak pilots, the SWS Kodiak comes in four different wheeled variants, featuring 40 different liveries, authentic flight dynamics and high quality systems modelling.

Very good MSFS aircraft
I purchased the Kodiak on release day and am loving it. Like many others I struggled with the take offs due to pitch trim set incorrectly but after a few practice take offs this issue went away. The aircraft’s flight model feels great, not on rails like many others. Sounds are great. Really happy with this purchase, blasting in and out of bush strips in VR is great fun. Well done SWS, you’ve produced a great MSFS add-on.

What a beautiful aircraft. For the eyes and for the way it fly’s.
You really have an eye for details.
Not the easiest plane to fly, beacause of its strong motor, but once you get a grip on it it’s so much fun!

I wish it adds the floats to it so it lands on water.
The price is expensive for me, i think fair price for these airplanes is around 10-15 gbp.
Ive had issues where the plane after liftoff was going retarded but Im not sure if its my trim, load…
A better guide with a checklist would be nice to have!

Simply the most complete and fulfilling aircraft to fly in msfs to date..pretty much perfect in every way..
What a great aircraft. Challenging to master and tricky to take off accurately . After a little runway trimming its a beauty.. so many working switches, aircon and cabin/passenger reading lights work too. the master panel for the circuit breakers is handy as you can switch off certain instruments that you don’t need, ( the co pilots nx100 and backup att are two) so you can save a few fps on unwanted panels. doors open/ window panels work. the aircon is fully functional and you can hear it too. my only issue, really only one is that after opening the skydive door in flight, i cant close it..apart from that its perfect and ive found a great way to relax in vr.. just move back to the open door in vr and sit back whilst the autopilot does the flight for you..so tempting to jump out and parachute down.

An immersive plane with amazing audio
This is a really good addon that makes flying fun and immersive. Most of the buttons works, very high quality audio and good 3d modelling! Paired with the G1000 Nxi this is my goto plane!

Very nice airplane
Well simulated airplane. The heavy drag to the left when airborn hit me a bit offguard, but after reading the manuals and doing some research finding that the plan is flown with 30-50% rudder trim in real life, all i can say is: price-performance is absolute huge. Im a fan of the plane. Well done SWS.

Very good work on this aircraft add on for MSFS. I tried for a week to download the installer after purchasing but had difficultly downloading kept timing out and was slow. Tried different browser finally contracted support a quick reply from support with a download link (dropbox) If you run into problem contact support Great team! (Be sure to check your junk or spam folder.) My first flight with the Kodiak was Kenia, Alaska to PAHO. Short but eager to test out the Kodiak. Great modeling, PBR, livery assortment.
More flight to come for me.

The model is excellent, this model is a joy to fly. I am super excited to see an update with the new propeller system in SU8.
The price ($35 USD for me) is good value for what you get here, it has at least doubled my enjoyment of flying over other aircraft.

Amazing GA for MSFS
Bought this aircraft a while ago and since then have only been flying this aircraft on MSFS. It is so realistic and such a pleasure to own and fly it is second to none in the GA field. I heard this morning from MSFS Addons that here is a huge update coming and I am really looking forward to this. The only criticism I have of this aircraft is the taxi speed very difficult to keep it at a reasonable level so hope the update rectifies this. Keeping my eye on what they have to in the future.

WELL, well worth it…Super product
I have had the Kodiak 100 since the day it came out and have loved every aspect of it. The sounds are spot-on. I’m amazed at how the noise changes once you release brakes and begin your takeoff roll. And how it sounds when going into the beta range. Super awesome product, I already have about 50 hours in it, many of them in the mountains of Papua New Guinea, doing Missionary Bush Pilot flights!
Super job, SWS! With the G1000 Nxi free mod from Marketplace, it makes it even better! Comparable to PMDG, I think!

UNSTABLE TRIM ON ROLL
I bought the KODIAK 100 SWS, a question addressed to those who use it: is it normal that even above 100 kts it continues to lean to the left despite the corrections with the aileron trim? To be able to keep it straight I have to trim with the rudder. I am obviously talking about a flight without the AP. I understand under a certain speed, but even above 100-120 kts it does. I state that the axis calibrations on the joy have a dead zone of about 9-10% logitech pro 3d. Like all propellers it reverses the rotation as a reaction, but above a speed it should no longer be so accentuated.

I bought this plane and i love it have flown it a lot, the only improvement i hope for is that for auto pilot the ils approaches tend to veer off course more accuracy would be great. otherwise its amazing!

Top quality with tons of system depth
I have been pondering about getting the Kodiak 100 II for a long time. To be honest, the looks of the plane never were quite my cup of tea (not Simworks’ fault, it’s the aeroplane itself).
After seeing tons of videos talking about the systems depth of this mod I recently bought it directly from the store here… and oh my god! This mod is fantastic in every single aspect! Top quality from the model to the textures to the plane’s systems (even the air conditioning works!) to the tons of beautifully done liveries!
As far as I know this also is the only mod where how you load passengers/freight actually matters and changes the way the aeroplane handles. Kudos to you guys @Simworks
Going to get the floats version soon, too (cause I’m a sucker for amphibian birds)
TL;DR: the best mod I have gotten so far for MSFS 2020 (and believe me, I got far too many to count). Can’t go wrong with the Kodiak 100 II

My Goto Best Friend
I purchased the SWS Kodiak on day one…and I have enjoyed it every day since. It is, in my humble opinion, the “template” all other studios should be using; An incredibly high-quality build with insane attention to detail (modeling, systems and flight characteristics), updates quickly when things aren’t perfect out of the box, and just a great value for the price.
In all honesty, this is the plane I keep going back to time and time again (along with its amphibian sibling).

I am into flying big aircraft and love turboprops and I have to say that this is the best aircraft out for MSFS.
I would love the engine persistance (damage etc) if it would span multiple flights from the world map but it resets the engine state everytime.
Still the best aircraft tho….

Best GA aircraft in MSFS
This aircraft just got an update last week, ( March 1, 2025), it flies wonderfully. Sounds, handling, features, and the reworked G 1000nxi GPS make it my favorite aircraft to fly now. A must have for a sim enthusiast.
