The RV-10 is a single-engine, low-wing, homebuilt kit monoplane by Van’s Aircraft Inc. A four-seat version of their successful RV line, the design is popular as a touring aircraft, and over 1,000 have been built to date. Created under license by Van’s Aircraft, the SWS RV-10 is a faithful recreation of its real counterpart. Featuring a high-detail 3D model, detailed animations and authentic sounds recorded from the real aircraft, the SWS Van’s RV-10 looks and sounds like the real thing. The flight model was created usind flight data from the real aircraft and tested by RV-10 pilots, ensuring that the performance and feel is as close as Microsoft Flight Simulator allows.

Another Masterpiece
Simworks Studios are fantastic and this one is another winner. Well done!! I love the inclusion of the Sky4Sim Pad as well.

Another Great Product from SWS!
The Van’s RV10 has to be one of my favorites GA airplanes in real life, even though I haven’t flown one yet. Just like the SWS RV-14, the RV-10 is done with an incredible attention to details. Both the RV-14 and RV-10 has working circuit breakers, moving air vents, and unique gimmicks. The sound inside and outside the aircraft are great, very involving sound set even from afar. So yes, this aircraft is the same level of quality as the RV-14, but yet I found some issues while flying it. First, I found out that the fuel indicator always marks empty even after adding fuel from the Weight and Balance menu. Second, the pilot model will not disappear after removing his/her weight, only the co-pilot does disappear. Third, I found an issue with the MFD, specifically with the navigation display. The navigation display will not continue the flight plan sequence, meaning the magenta line will stay on the first leg and will not show the distance and info to the next waypoint. The AP still flies the correct route, but the info of the next waypoint, distance and estimated time will remain on the previous waypoint. Last but not least, I feel like the pitch up responsiveness is a bit sensitive during take-off and during the landing flare. This might be my issue with my yoke or that’s how it actually flies, I’m not sure. The RV-14 doesn’t feel that way. Beside those “bugs” I found the aircraft is really enjoyable as the RV-14. Flies just as the RV’s performance charts indicate, and it’s just a very fun aircraft to fly around locally and on cross-country flights. For sure, I will be flying her around the Americas and beyond; and how knows, maybe someday in the future I will own a real RV-10.

great addon
for the price it is worth it find it to be very fun to fly like the kodiak this is another great aircraft from SWS. only thing i wish is to have some diffrent set of avionics to choose from other then the already fantastic G3X .

Great representation of the RV-10
I think performance, views, weight an balance and all of that are spot on for this experimental plane. I only wish it came with both G1000 and G3X. I say that because I am personally building one right now and most likely will put in G3X but I have a full blown Aviatek G1000 simulator and using all of the active buttons is more realistic than trying to use a mouse for touch. Is there any way we can get this updated to support both G1000xni and modeled G3X?

One of a kind best GA Experimental Aircraft
Finally someone made an RV-10 most versatile 4 seat Acft. Awesome graphics, smooth and solid performance. One of a kind. Love the updates and how they download directly into file. Still working on GTN650 integration. Nice product keep em coming. Need a Black and Grey scheme with a strip of red or yellow.

RV 10
Excellent high fidelity model. even the breakers works like the real thing. Only negative is the sky4sim. Making custom liveries for this bird. Love it!!!
