Let’s talk screens today! First of all, our tablet is finally looking the part, and we expect to show it fully in the coming days while previewing the Airvan.
The main screen is representative of the approach; it has been made for ease of use from the pilot’s perspective, featuring big click spots, large fonts and minimum visual noise, as the tablet serves the aircraft and not the other way around. The first iteration will include:
- Loading: fuel, passengers and cargo loading (with a twist),
- Manual and checklists,
- Avionics options: GNS, GTN, GTNXi,
- Weathering and failures,
- Settings: pilots in cockpit, visible cargo, other settings
Then, we have the G1000 upgrade, which is coming to the Kodiak 100 and 900!
Again, the images speak for themselves! On top of what’s already done for the K100, we are adding weight & balance, trip planning, systems, PFD enhancements, new alerts and everything else we can to give you the full Kodiak experience!
