DCS: Early Release F/A-18C Lot 20 is flyable in open beta
« on: June 02, 2018, 03:49:18 AM »
Unlike FSX/P3D, starting on a mission on the deck of an aircraft carrier doesn't require special addons or doing any kind of dancing around system limitations. The Su-33 was fun, but the F/A-18C and the new carrier released with it is awesome. But for the foreseeable future I am stuck with P3D/TacPack for flying the F-4B no matter how buggy and limited it may be compared to flying the Hornet in DCS World. I am looking forward to the DCS World F-4E which is quite possibly my favorite F-4, but it just isn't the same as flying an F-4B from a carrier.

I am loving the Hornet so far! Lots of work to do on it and a very fun plane to fly.

If only you could see the landing strip out of 0.25 miles...
