I can't seem to find any F1CG repaints anywhere.

Dave

When I was on the high school, I used to make repaints with my brother.
One of these is a pack of 4 repaints for the Mirage F.1CG.

In my opinion you can use this  pack http://simviation.com/1/download-file?file=MirageF1MegapackII.zip&fileId=49738
and add my textures :)

I looked there before I posted.

Aside from the megapack, all F1CG links are broken.

Ok I had the chance to fly this bird. I did pattern work around Nice, FR.

Wow, I had to do a double take. It feels underpowered. I checked the stats on the plane with the aircraft.cfg, and aside from some very very slight weight discrepancies, everything is correct.

SO this thing really DID need have full throttle to do anything? A couple times i nearly crashed on approach to Nice, due to pulling the throttle back to what I always assumed was the right setting, and promptly falling out of the sky. Thank goodness for afterburner!

That having been said, I like the aircraft. I of course made some exterior views for it, you know how I am, I have to be able to see a proper chase view for "cinematic reasons".

If you want the same views I added, put this in your aircraft.cfg

My next task, adding CS Weapons to it....

Well... "default" FSX Mirage F1 (out there) is overpowered...
You have to fly with throttle full back & deploy airbrakes for landing...
This one feels much more realistic to me...

Thank's for the cameras. They'll be useful to my next videos also.

Yeah I agree. I like keeping things as they are on the statistics page (like wiki or someplace). So it just surprised me is all.

I am going to do a flight from Nice to Gibraltar, with CSWeapons loaded. I believe there should be some Libyan AI I might be able to kill if they stray too far north of the Med.

We should have some AI Mirage F1CG aircraft - something similar to the French scene (Solenzara) above.
What do you think?

I have the skins. I just need the correct air base in FSXA.

F1CG, G stands for Greece (if I'm not mistaken).
So if you mean a proper AB in Greece, then Tanagra AB that comes
with FSX@War is probably the best choice.
Is photorealistic and has nice FSX@War simobjects. Overall a very nice & accurately
placed AB.

Of course, it shows up only with FSX@War activated - that may also be a good think - though
I've considered making it a permanent scenery since it's very good...

On another note, 3D Red/Cyan Anaglyph, does have an FPS impact depending on the complexity of
scenery you're flying above, ranging from 0 up to 5 FPS.
