Sample CCP mission for BG 'Nam : CSAR at Dao Con Co isl.

This one is the first CCP mission that I release for BattleGround
Vietnam (or for Multiplayer in Free Flight...).

This mission features scenery objects "destruction" apart of the moving
AAA SimObject. A total of 10 scenery objects can be "destroyed" :
- a parked biplane
- 2 scenery vehicles
- 7 objects at the scenery SAM site.
Though primary target is the AAA vehicle.

How to Use CCP with ready CCP missions (like this one) :

1. Run CCP and launch FSX(/P3D) also.
2. At CCP's "Monitor" Tab, import the CCP mission using the "import mission" button.
3. At CCP and "Boat" Tab, use "Start on Carrier" button to define your spawn position aboard
CCP mission's carrier : Since there could be different boats in CCP mission, choose the available carrier
(in this ccp mission, choose "task force" and then your spawn position). Of course, if ccp mission is
a land based one, you skip this step.
4. Enter FSX Mission "Carrier Ops II".
5. Now, from CCP's "Monitor" Tab, press "Connect to FSX". Done.

CCP will transfer you aboard ccp mission's carrier at the position you have chosen. This ccp mission uses
the same carrier that the FSX mission uses (don't get confused), but carrier's position is 60 miles from Dan con co island.

This brings me to another issue about combat mission CCP designs :

Scenery Destruction :

Unfortunatelly, I got shot down and didn't manage to demonstrate this.

Whether it is scenery objects or just interesting targets on the image of a photoscenery,
by placing invisible targets at the corresponding spots (ie, at  the coordinates of each
scenery object) with CCP, you can have scenery "destruction" :
Persistent fire & smoke effects that last for well over 5 mins, "covering" the scenery
object.
- Vietnam Target sceneries, you'll find a lot at Navyair, like this one.
- CCP comes with invisible targets
- BattleGround Vietnam comes with invisible targets also : "AI_Target_Invisible".
When placed with CCP, it can be recognized & vocally reported by the AI Wingman.
- With BG 'Nam comes also the "AI_AAA_Invisible" simobject. By placing this with
CCP at the position of a static AAA unit, you get the 25% chance of taking damage if
in less range than 1.5 Km from it. Wingman also recognizes this and reports for AAA.

I really hope that interested users, when get used to CCP, will make some
interesting & challenging CCP missions to share with others...

Mission uses a default FSX carrier and you'll have to choose Position 4 in CCP if you're
going to use a Skyrider for take off. Otherwise Positions 1 & 3, spawn you at the catapults.
Pos 2 is taken by the "Scout" Skyrider.



STATIC Scenery TARGETS :
4 is the AAA vehicle & your Primary target (moving CCP vehicle). 3 is also the CCP Flak simobject
(produces Flak up to 5000ft. Can't harm you - right now...). Rest of it are scenery targets you can "destroy".

If u are wondering how I added the weapons under the plane's wings, then look for 3 buttons in the left of the cockpit, just behind the throttle quadrant. Also, as u might have noticed, I used the wrong livery: I am in VNAF colors :-X

then how did you make them burn for 5 minutes? It would be very useful in scenery destruction.

It's a Tacpack feature. It's how Tacpack works. I didn't make anything...

At csweapons.xml you can define the time that "burning" effects last. But, though
I have tried to extend that time in the past, from default 8 secs (if I recall correct...)
to a bigger duration, didn't make any difference. But you can try that.

then how to change the number of time a simobject burns in the csweapon.xml? Awesome scenery destruction concept though. How did you do it in tacpack?

It worked, but how could you do this to just one plane? I tried it in the <type> section adding a specific aircraft title but what happened is it just used the setting from "DefaultAir" At that section you can see something saying "user can define any Sim object title(i.e. de Havilland dash-8-100)to set to any specific setting". Tried it, but as mentioned above, it used the one from "default air"
