A few question overall about this recent update: SWS_F-4BN_v1.26_20170920_setup.exe

1. Can this version be installed over the previous version?
2. Added Carrier Extensions 2.0 support <<<does this apply to this update?
3. Drivable tow tractor - How do I access the tow tractor to drive it?
4. I would like to adjust the position of one of the escort ships (Destroyer) so that it is trailing directly astern of the
Corral Sea maintaining a Plane Guard position. What would be a good coordinates to use in the corral sea.cfg?
The other escorts appear to be screens for the Carrier.   I see there is a cruiser and three destroyers.
5. Appreciate the email with the change log info -otherwise, I'd have to ask what has changed?  :)
6. I  noticed that a corral sea.cfg was provided so I manually copied it to the AI carriers/config folder
which resulted in seeing the SH-2 helo  flying alongside the carrier.
1. It is recommended that you uninstall the previous version
2. Yes
3. While on the carrier, hit Shift+T to spawn the tow tractor in a "push" position. Hit Shift+Ctrl+T to spawn it in a "pull" position. Use the joystick to drive it. More details can be seen here: http://wiki.simworksstudios.com/index.php?title=USS_Midway_Battlegroup
4. I cannot help with that as I am not familiar with naval formation rules. Will ask Bill about it (wingsofgold in SOH).
5. http://simworksstudios.com/forum/index.php?topic=486.0
6. That is correct. A guard helicopter was added.

I would like to add that the F4 in P3D V3.4 is making tremendous hits on my FPS, On land, I get around 2-3 FSX (A slide show) on the Corral Sea around 12-13
The corral sea has not made any impact on my FPS - Just the F-4. What would I have to adjust to that I get better FPS? My vid card is Nvidia Ge Force GTX 660.

I don't know why, it is the same as in FSX. Judging by your description, if you're having that problem over land then your scenery settings may be too high.
*I'd suggest lowering texture resolution to 2048 and playing around with the scenery sliders until you get acceptable performance.
*Shadow detail should be set below Ultra, which is a killer.
*Water reflections can also kill FPS. I usually only leave my own plane, simobjects, clouds and terrain enabled
*Scenery complexity and autogen density can gain FPS too.

I don't know your settings, but the 660 will need some detail reduction to handle the F-4/Coral Sea combo, especially in P3D where object density (i.e. autogen) has been increased a lot compared to FSX in the same settings.

What are your CPU, RAM and hard drive specs?

Where specifically over land are you seeing the low FPS?

Are you running any add on scenery?

Are you running FSX@War?

That is a first... Can you post two screenshots before and after the vanishing?

Seeing the camera mode, location of plane relative to ship etc may help.

I have the Coral Sea with no problems, my issue is no aircraft are showing except at obscure angles in relation to my plane, then poof, they vanish again.

General discussion / Re: Idea for a SimWorks Studios aircraft

I wonder if they'd manage to get the reheat lag accurately modelled. That's the time between reheats being commanded and their actually kicking-in.
It was an appreciable delay - especially when you were 'ridge-running' and the ground was coming up a little too fast.....

The petals would open, so you'd actually lose power before the reheats lit.
British flying suits were that colour for a reason.
