Attempted an uninstall then reinstall. Windows 10 Pro 64bit. UAC is set to never notify (from clean install).

No success. Ran in admin 3 times.

Going to try manual method.

With respect to the fix on the link. It says....Check if you have the following 2 entries.

Aren't those 3 entries showing in your example?

  *  <Launch.Addon>
        <Name>CarrierExtensions</Name>
        <Disabled>False</Disabled>
        <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
        <Path>Gauges\CarrierExtensions.dll</Path>
      </Launch.Addon>
   * <Launch.Addon>
        <Name>XMLTools3D</Name>
        <Disabled>False</Disabled>
        <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
        <Path>XMLTools3D.dll</Path>
        <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
        <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
      </Launch.Addon>
    *<Launch.Addon>
        <Name>SWS_ShipPlacer</Name>
        <Disabled>False</Disabled>
        <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
        <Path>Gauges\SWS_ShipPlacer.dll</Path>
      </Launch.Addon>

DCS:World / Re: Early Release F/A-18C Lot 20 is flyable in open beta

I am loving the Hornet so far! Lots of work to do on it and a very fun plane to fly.

If only you could see the landing strip out of 0.25 miles...

DCS:World / Early Release F/A-18C Lot 20 is flyable in open beta
« Last post by streakeagle on June 02, 2018, 06:49:18 AM »
Unlike FSX/P3D, starting on a mission on the deck of an aircraft carrier doesn't require special addons or doing any kind of dancing around system limitations. The Su-33 was fun, but the F/A-18C and the new carrier released with it is awesome. But for the foreseeable future I am stuck with P3D/TacPack for flying the F-4B no matter how buggy and limited it may be compared to flying the Hornet in DCS World. I am looking forward to the DCS World F-4E which is quite possibly my favorite F-4, but it just isn't the same as flying an F-4B from a carrier.

I for one, appreciate your story. I was born at MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL in 1968. I grew up in that area with F-Ds and F-4Es flying overhead all the time. My father had served on the USS America before she departed for Vietnam and saw many F-4s. My eyesight prevented me from ever having the opportunity to fly for a living, but the F-4 is in my blood and I love to hear anything I can about them from people who flew and worked on them. Thank you for the information.

Hi all. I'm having problems with rudder and aileron response. In the cockpit the pedals and the joystick move fine but the actual control surfaces do not move thus can not steer the plane on the ground and can not take off as it just stays on the ground....Am I missing something in the setup of the cockpit controls?
