Coral Sea deck lights (Landing Area lights)
« on: November 20, 2018, 08:31:20 PM »
The deck lights (in the LA)
Interstingly, they have gone missing - reminding me of the movie "Airplane" where the tower controller pulls the plug on the lights...
Anyhow, Alex, any ideas?  I have v1.30 installed.
They were working fine a week ago, but not sure what i touched, but they are inop now - making night traps REALLY fun.

Thanks as always.

What simulator does this happen in?

Sorry.
FSX Acceleration.
Cockpit lighting in the F-4 not working either. External lights work fine.
Deck configuration for Coral Sea can be changed around just fine.
However, i dont think (not confirmed yet) that hangar doors or elevators can be changed using the configuration tool.

That is strange. Check that sws_carrier_white_lt.fx is in your FSX Effects folder. If you're running FSX in DX10 mode without Steve's fixer, the effects may disappear but I don't know of any other case where that should happen.

Regarding the cockpit lighting, it is designed so that it can only be seen at night time or in shade.

Thanks.
Unfortunately, it is not the fx in the effects folder - that one is there, and DX10 is not checked on.
I am looking at updating the install the latest. You had sent me an email to my gmail, and I will try and go in that direction

Thanks as always, Alex.
